Forest Ridge School
2006 - Bellevue, Washington
Siting of two new buildings on the south end of the Forest Ridge School fo the Sacred Heart campus creates a welcoming sense of arrival for students. Across a terraced entry courtyard, the new high school building includes classrooms, science labs, and a student lounge. Spaces in both new buildings are organized to maximize daylight, take advantage of spectacular views of the surrounding landscape and increase a feeling of community and security on the campus. The new chapel is designed to be a flexible, sacred space, inviting to students of all faiths, as well as meeting Archdiocese requirements.
