The school is nestled amidst towering hemlock, cedar, and fir trees on a heavily wooded site, offering a serene connection to nature. Reflecting this natural environment, the stair graphics mirror the majestic trees visible through the windows, helping students identify the surrounding foliage and deepening their appreciation for the site’s unique landscape.

In the nearby flexible learning area, a regional historic timeline adds another layer of connection. This timeline highlights significant moments in local history, offering students a broader context of the area's past while complementing the natural themes of the design.

Further enhancing the connection to the site, the athletics corridor features graphics that tie directly to the evergreen trees both on-site and in other design elements. These visuals create a cohesive narrative, blending the themes of nature, history, and community throughout the school.
